Translation: O my Lord, I have wronged myself and wronged others greatly. Please forgive me, for You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Explanation

This dua is from the Quran (Surah Al-Qasas, 28:16). Prophet Musa (Moses) recited it after accidentally striking a man. It teaches humility, acknowledging our mistakes, and turning to Allah for forgiveness. The phrase "Astaghfirullah" (I seek forgiveness from Allah) is a shorter form of Istighfar used frequently.
